Meet the Agency

Our Story

Angelica Adamson's journey to America began in Guatemala, where she learned the values of family, care, and respect for elders. Growing up, she and her family took care of all four grandparents, instilling in her a deep appreciation for honoring and supporting those who came before her.

When Angelica moved to the United States, she and her husband, Patrick, wanted to raise their children with these same values. For several years, she stayed home with the kids, embracing her role as a mother and wife. But as her children grew, she felt a calling to do more, to serve her community while continuing to support her family.

Patrick, always by her side, encouraged her to follow this path. Angelica began by caring for an elderly lady in the evenings, once Patrick came home from work. This experience sparked her passion for elder care, leading her to work as caregiver with several home care agencies. She eventually joined an independent living community, where she served several residents, offering personalized care in a close-knit environment. Later, she took on a role in a large, independent community helping residents with different task, further expanding her experience in elder care. She worked also with a well know franchise as a Care Specialist and HR.

With Patrick's unwavering support, Angelica went on to manage a senior care agency in Lake County for five years. During this time, Patrick's experience deepened as he cared for his own mother, who was battling cancer. Losing her was a profound loss for him, but it strengthened his empathy and reinforced their shared commitment to compassionate, respectful elder care.

Together, Angelica and Patrick decided to create something meaningful—a home care agency that embodied the values they both held dear. This led to the founding of Avanza Senior Care.

Today, Avanza Senior Care represents the beginning of a new journey. It is a service dedicated to honoring, supporting, and uplifting the elderly community. Through Avanza, Angelica and Patrick carry forward the values that have guided them from the beginning, providing care that is rooted in respect, empathy, and a commitment to making a lasting difference.

Our Care Philosophy

Through compassionate caregiving, meaningful companionship, and dependable support, we strive to enrich the lives of our clients while offering peace of mind to their families.

Our commitment is to build trusted relationships based on kindness, integrity, communication, and excellence in care. At Avanza Senior Care, we treat every client like family and are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where seniors feel valued, supported, and empowered every day.
